The new school year starts in 8 days, 14 hours, and 34 minutes...not that I'm counting or anything. Since my bff became instructional coach, I will be taking over her duties in the English department. I'll be teaching Honors 9th grade, Honors 10th grade, and Honors American Literature. I've never taught any of these! Yikes. I've been planning like crazy since last week.

I'm nervous, but I think it will be fine. I've been teaching primarily inclusion classes. This will be a total shift in how I approach the material. I won't be scaffolding nearly as much. It will be fast-paced and FUN!
